Has been here for the 2nd time today. Unfortunately there was no chanterelle soup again. It's a shame to have it on the menu. The staff is very friendly and the pumpkin soup tasted good too.

Basically a nice place to stay with the food and drink we were also very satisfied. However, there are points of criticism, if you constantly reprimand your staff, this should not be done in front of the guests. You don't feel really comfortable as a guest anymore and that's probably also due to Corona at half capacity.

We waited half an hour for a beer. After all the tables had their drinks, we asked politely whether we had been forgotten and got no answer. The request to get a black bread with the cheese we were snapped at with: “I don't know what kind of bread the cook has”. We left with no drink and no food.

Wonderful, in all respects friendly restaurant with a clear but varied menu. The food was really very good and the "in-house" Altenauer beer is also something special. Unfortunately, it was too cold for us in the evening for the great beer garden ...

Very tasty game burgers and deer rolls. Rather delicate instead of super filling, but sufficient and reasonably priced. Friendly service and a nice beer garden. Vegetarian offer unfortunately limited (two dishes and no vegetarian burger or something similar, which would be worth eating out for). After the meal, unfortunately, no indication that the kitchen is closed at 9 p.m. and therefore no dessert.

The food was delicious as always. Unfortunately we had to wait about 1 hour for our food. That can happen, there was also a lot going on. At least it would have been nice to warn us in advance, for example, we could have taken a walk through the beautiful grounds, or they could have brought us a bit of bread or something to bridge the gap, or some kind of attention and communication ... What a shame.

We always like to go to Klosterkrug Wöltingerode to eat under the shade of the large trees or to visit the beer garden. Even at over 30 ° C in the sun, the open space is pleasantly cool. Very pleasant interpretations of rustic, home-style and seasonal dishes and an attentive team round off the experience. If the temperature is more pleasant, a short hike to the Harly Tower is recommended before or after.

Location at old monastery. Hotel & distillery. Excellent beers and gin. Food at the pub very good, beers better (🙂🍻) staff very helpful providing good table service. Beer garden very pleasant area to sit out for your meal. Reasonably well shaded.

The dishes were delicious. Small menu that also includes dishes for the little ones. The adjoining playground also makes it ideal for families.

We have eaten here twice and both times it was very good. The interiors have a very inviting ambience but the beer garden is also great and invites you to linger. I strongly recommend making a reservation. The menu offers a nice, extensive range of cleverly compiled dishes. The fresh soups are a highlight. I noticed both times that the service is very attentive, friendly and professional. A very recommendable place.

Depending on the number of visitors, there is a free choice of seats outside. Also international customers, which speaks for the service, the beautiful ambience and the good cuisine. The sights of the monastery complex all around do the rest. We recommend.

Nice restaurant with a historical background on a well-kept monastery estate. The food was special and very tasty. It was definitely not the last time we were a guest. Top1 keep it up!

You sit very beautifully idyllic in the beer garden, the service staff are very friendly and attentive. The menu is clear, but there is something for everyone. We got our ordered food very quickly, it was plentiful and tasted very good. We will definitely be back

Amazing location. It's a beautiful old cloister that still kept its charm even after so many years. I loved the stay. The service was extraordinary ever though we only stayed a few nights.

We came late in the evening during the week and we still got served! It was "Schnitzel" Day so we could choose from two pages full of Schnitzel Variations. Delicious!!! Try the one with berries! Don't forget to order a Schnaps afterwards. Homemade ;)
